What Do We Believe?

I'm glad you asked! Below you will find our core belief at Casa 132.

If you have any specific question or concern that you cannot find an answer to here, please reach us at info@casa132.com.

  1. We believe in One God, God the Eternal Father, who alone is Supreme; Creator of the universe; Ruler and Judge of all; unchangeable and without respect of persons.
    (Isaiah 45:15-21; Malachi 3:6; Revelation 20:11-13).
  2. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, the manifestation of God in flesh, who lived, suffered, and died for all mankind.
    (John 5:19-24; Hebrews 1:1-14).
  3. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, which searches the deep things of God, brings to our minds things which are past, reveals things to come, and is the medium by which we receive the revelation of Jesus Christ.
    (John 14:15-26).

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16). TCasa 132 believes in the Bible as the sole authority of His Church, "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth" (Matthew 28:18). We advocate for congregational autonomy, meaning each church governs itself without a central authority except the sole authority of Jesus Christ.

  1. We believe that all men have sinned, and will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression, and that Christ provided the opportunity to have those sins atoned for through His death, burial, and resurrection.
    (Romans 3:23).
  2. We believe that through the atonement of Christ all men may be saved by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel. (Romans 6:23).

  1. Hear - Salvation comes from hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached (Romans 10:17)
  2. Believe - In the Bible belief means much more than just knowing God’s ways. It means trusting yourself to His ways, because you have come to know Jesus as God’s Son (Mark 16:16; John 8:24; Acts 8:37).
  3. Repent - You, like us, have all fallen short of God’s desire for your life. Your sins have destroyed your relationship with your God. So, you chose, in mind and will, to turn from those things that displease God, and turn to those things that honor Him (Acts 3:19; Isaiah 59:1-2; Acts 17:30).
  4. Confess - Jesus says, "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven." The new believer in Christ must make a public confession that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God before he can be saved. (Romans 10:9)
  5. Baptism - Jesus taught that baptism was much more than external demonstration of your faith. He taught that in baptism God does a work in a person’s life to forgive their sins and give them His Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1-6; Colossians 2:12).
  6. Live Faithfully - The true joy of being a Christian comes in your daily walk with Him. Many people begin a relationship with God only to destroy it by ignoring it, or even turning their back on it. The call of Christ is to a life of continual growth and service. You become a vital, active part of God’s people, and impact the world with the truth of Jesus (2 Peter 1:10-11; Acts 2:42, 46-47; 2 Peter 2:20-22).

Casa 132 believes in worshipping in Truth & Spirit as demanded by Jesus while He was talking to the Samaritan Women at the well in John, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” John 4:24. The only method of singing to the Lord that is authorized by God's Word is found in 2 verses, "speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord," (Ephesians 5:19; "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16).

We believe in participating in the Lord's Supper every Lord's Day, which is Sunday, according to Acts 20:7.

  1. We pray and give thanks for the unleavened bread as we partake of it. This bread is a symbol of the body of Christ as explained by Jesus in Matthew 26:26.
  2. We then pray and offer thanks for the fruit of the vine which Christ stated represents His blood shed for us (Matthew 26:27-28).
  3. We also take up a collection on the first day of each week to aid in furthering God's Kingdom on earth (1 Corinthians 16:2; 2 Corinthians 9:12).

We believe in having meaningful and inspirational messages each Sunday morning to provide encouragement and continued faithfulness of the congregation. We believe that, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" as stated in (2 Timothy 3:16).
